Iteration 02[Studio Lighting]iterating
Warming the Studio.
The Studio was lit by a teal cursor torch. On-brand for the old palette, off-brand for the new one. Shifting the whole homepage to saffron and adding a visible candle.
Hypothesis
If the Studio is meant to feel like a dark room being lit, the light itself should be warm — saffron overhead from the logo, candle warmth from below. Not teal.
Try it
The Studio, embedded live. Move your cursor over it — the torch is warm now. Scroll to the bottom of the iframe to find the candle. The HAL switch loops here; clicking it doesn't leave the page.
Open questions
- Is the candle visible enough to be noticed, small enough not to dominate?
- Do the service cards still read well against the warmer wash?
- Does the logo halo feel like a "light source" or just a decorative glow?
- Should the candle's warmth be stronger on longer pages (scroll-aware), or is a static ambient warmth enough?
Conclusion
Pending. Writing once the warmth has been lived with.
