Replacing the peel.

The corner peel was pretty. It didn't really work — especially on touch, and the transition under it was ordinary. Trying a gesture from 2001 instead.

Hypothesis

Three slabs. Push them in. The lights come up. One switch, one metaphor, one job.

Same component that ships on the home page. Here it loops instead of routing.

Open questions

Is the gesture readable without the caption?
Does the warmup feel like a lab coming on, or a theatre?
Does the final frame (white) land well before the Lab renders?

Conclusion

Pending. Will be written after a few visitors have used it.
