Chapter 11: Mobile
The Pocket Prism
Everything we've explored reaches the user differently on a phone. The screen is a pocket. The hand is the input. The session is a moment between other moments. The context is often outdoor, often distracted, often one-handed.
Mobile isn't a smaller version of the same experience. It's a different relationship. Some of our principles become more powerful here than anywhere else. Some need to be put aside. Some have to adapt to the thumb.
